Namco withdraws Sega merger offer

Sega may have to look to another company for a possible merger.

Namco has reportedly withdrawn its offer from the table and will no longer seek a merger with Sega. However, Namco representatives said that if Sega were to make a new offer or proposal to the company, they would take the time to consider it, leaving the door open for a possible merger somewhere down the road. Just yesterday, Sega and Sammy decided to end their merger negotiations due to a general disapproval of what the merger might mean for both companies.
