Another Site from Sin

There's been alot fo talk and alot of debate about Sin making another website. Is it going to happen, not one person knows. The site would only take about a day to get running. But in no way would it be like this site, and the purpose of the new site would be to gather more people in the houston area together. It would be a very simple site compare to this. Spawnschic and Dream have been throwing ideas back and forth on this one. Top active and contributing members on this site would definitely get special treatment on the other site aswell. The name of the new site has already been decided mostly but that is still open for debate on what to name it. For the last few weeks and still to this day, Sin is trying out new features for the new site, it may be a long time before it shows up since he doesn't have any motivation to create the new site. So lets hope something changes soon.

No Gir but it will include a similar idea. Say there's going to be a big day at club or something like that it will inform everyone on the front page.

From what I saw this weekend this alot of work and ideas being thought about for this new site idea. I'm definitely going to be apart of it but this site is my home so this one comes first.

One good thing about is that anyone throwing a huge party or just seriously want to meet tons of new people at a location it would be seriously easy to do. Of course you have to make the site easier enough for people who's are myspace education level.

Now Lynn has a point is the site going to be so big that is going to take away from this site, even just the time Sinny spends working on the site, is that meaning he's giong to have to split up his time between the two. Meaning that updatse and new things on this site are going to start coming slower and slower becuase I don't like that idea.

No one knows hows the other site is giong ti impact this one. Most likely it will take up some time from Sinny working and adding on to this site. Then again we know Sinny could just surprise us all and take it connected with this site. Nothing can really be estimated yet about it until the admins for the site have been decided. As it stands right now I think only one admin has been made so far.

What kind of platform wil the new site be running off? PHP frontend MySQL backend? There's some good Content Management Software available out there... My favorite is joomla.com and mamboserver.com
--or is it going to be pure html /dreamweaver/front page?

it will be simiar to this site which is PHP and MYSQL, Sin's prefered language. Joolma dn Mambo have too many scurity issues and lack of features from what all he wanted to do. But they was tried out and reviewed.

Right now as far as I know there is one admin so far. A friend of Sinny, but I have no idea how much she knows about websites. But she's nice. atleast I think she is.

She kist coming in for the new site. There is no ETA for the new site since not much has really been decided, not even the name is concrete yet. Nor is Sinny got hype about it yet. So really nothing about the site is moving anywhere fast. Which is wierd since the site could be up and running within 2 days and be popular in less then a week.
