Comcast sets traffic limit

US SERVICE PROVIDER Comcast has confirmed that it will limit subscriber traffic to a total of 250 gigabytes per month. The draconian restrictions are slated to be enforced by October 1.

An official statement claimed the company had "listened to feedback" from customers who requested a "specific threshold for data usage". According to Comcast, the new traffic limit will, "help [subscribers] understand the amount of usage that would qualify as excessive".

The service provider also noted that the bandwidth cap was set significantly higher than the median monthly usage of 2 to 3 gigabytes. To illustrate its dubious claim, Comcast reckoned that a user could download 125 standard-definition movies per month before exceeding the limit.

Im liking it, it will slow down some piracy. and increaseign bandwidth speed would be nice to counder the cap for some people.

Food does have a limit. a lot of eat asia countrys are putting a limit of Rice that they can Export. the governments are saying to the farmers to feed the people of your country first over exporting it. that is why Rice has jump a hell of a lot in the last year, and the same thing with Grain for flour and making bread, with bad crop season and so man other countrys needing AID, a lot is being sent over there.

heck even Agrave, the Tequila plant is not being grown as much becasue with the high Grain prices farmers switched to grain becasue they make a killing on it selling it to the US.

everything has a limit there is not many things that are unlimited in this reality. even AIR there is a limit with cutting down trees and all the pollutants in the air, air quality is going down, and it is harming many people. so really there is nothing in this planet that is unlimited other then Human Stupidity. there is large amounts of that floating around the world.

lol yeah but he meant that there's a shortage of rice and other foods and stuff and I never heard of that til yesterday when he mentioned it, I just think its crazy and stupid for governments to do that to people
