| Hyundai 3-D Lcd Television Comes To Japan People in Japan will now be able to watch those insane gameshows of theirs in 3-D. Hyundai has created a 46-inch LCD television that displays shows in 3-D. And it’s not insanely expensive either. The price it’s selling for is $3,960 which includes the TV and two sets of glasses used for watching the television. The TV uses a technology called Tri-Def to display the 3-D images. Tri-Def was developed by Ddd Group Plc , based in Santa Monica, California. Japan already has programming for the 3-D television. Tokyo channel BS 11 currently broadcasts 3-D programs 4 times a day but it only shows short clips of things like animals at the zoo and some motorcycle races. The worst news is that Hyundai has no intention of selling the TV anywhere else so none of us in North America will be seeing any 3-D broadcasts for a while. And here I was hoping I could see the last half season of Battlestar Galactica in 3-D. Hyundai 3-D Lcd Television Comes To Japan | |||

| Platinum Soldier Sins: 559 Xations: 2% ![]() | lol right!! I know how you feel but I don't know Kimono from what I can tell from this pic, the TV screen looks more blurry than 3-D, and those glasses he's wearing are not helping things either, you know what I think I rather stick with 1080i/1080P HD TV's they're so much more fun to work with and well the clarity on my 46in tv is awesome too , but well if Hyundai decides to bring these tv's here someday I'll go check em out, or I can just fly back to Tokyo to check em out sometime this year to see for myself and compare the HD Tv's and the 3-D Tv's to see which is better | |

| Platinum Peasant Sins: 71 Xations: 0% ![]() | It sucks that he's not going to sell it to us but, if you think about it... It would be so expensive here in the U.S. I honestly think it would be a rip off. Then they have to think about making cartoons and shows 3d, and movies, and everything. | |

| Platinum Soldier Sins: 559 Xations: 2% ![]() | yeah that's why I was planning to head out to Tokyo and check them out to see if they are living up the hype, and why they are not bringing these TV's here to the U.S., but its gotta be more than just being to expensive, it could be since we have HDTV's and its the trend right now introducing the 3-D tv's here may not sell as much as the LCD n PLASMA HDTV's but I know probably Dream n Dreanna might buy a 3-D tv like Raven said lol ;D | |
