MP3 Retro Alarm Clock

Don’t be fooled by the retro looks of this alarm clock. While it does feature a set of real metal bells, it actually wakes you up by playing an MP3 file of your choice. Hidden in the back of the unit is a 22 inch USB cable that allows you to connect the clock to your PC. Using the included software, you can configure the alarm using a small selection of sounds, or upload any MP3 file you want to wake up to. And by ‘any’ MP3 file I mean any file that’s under 45 seconds in length. It seems like a big limitation, since I maybe have a handful of MP3s that are under 45 seconds long, and I’ll probably never go to the trouble of downloading an MP3 editor just to make a particular song compatible with my alarm clock.

My phone has a whole bunch of ring tones that would work perfectly to wake someone up and they are all well under 45 seconds and in mp3 format.

... every cell phone has an alarm setting. and with most you can assign anything you want, even a 7 min song if you so desire :\

plus because its a phone you need to actually WAKE UP tryin to turn it off.. its more effective that way

yeah that's true too Orange but hey if a good MP3 song was on this alarm I would wake my happy ass up then probably go back to sleep when it shuts off lol

i mean this think is probably fairly easy to shut-up.. so its a baaaaaad answer..

now a cell that you have to stop from making noise (open by flip or slide first, or just unlock then find the correct button) thats gonna wake u'r ass up!



still.. this clock looks funky.. i'd get one

hehehe yup yup well I have an alarm clock like this but its not MP3 just regular wake yo ass up bell ringing that it does and everytime i hear it i feel like that cartoon show Tom n Jerry, grabbing a big ol hammer and smash it to pieces but then I realize that it woke me up so good I just turn it off and start to get ready for work, I hope no one comes up with the idea of having an alarm clock that sounds like a boot camp drill instructor waking yo ass up at 0400 going WAAAAAKEEEE UPPP!!! REVALY!!! REVALY!!! REVALY!!! GET YO BODY OF THAT RACK RECRUIT!!! lol, make me feel like I'm back at boot camp again jajaja

I like old school old school clocks, you know the ones that have working bells and you have to wind them up. You only then ever have yourself to blame for not being up on time (power outages just don't happen)

I would so rock this out. The only really bad thing with retro style stuff especially something like this. People will think its just a show piece and not functional. This would be a like a hidden mp3 player.

Lauren you pretty much right on that one. Even though it can play mp3's I would never use it. I already have a computer and a stereo.

well I got a computer and stereo too but using this MP3 alarm to wake up would be cool for me, if it has alot of memory on i could choose a different song to wake up to
