Dreanna's Computer Goes Boom

Dreanna's computer went boom boom this weekend. Dell told her its her motherboard and to remove the harddrive from the computer and send it in to them. She said it will be about 2 weeks for her to be without a computer.

yeah I know here at work we only had a year warranty and once that was over with I had to go find the parts we need from Micro Center or buy em off the Dell website but either way that's how I find replacement parts for the Dell computers here at work.

what if its not just the MB? Dell will do some test and fix all the issues. so if the RAM went also, they can do it there.

you know what you right GIR, what if its not the MB but the powersupply oh I gotta send a message to dream or Dreanna and ask them what happen if it just turned off on Dreanna or what?! and another thing like you just said that got me thinking is how is Dell so sure that in fact it is the MB and is just making her waste time and money, I betcha its probably the power supply she just needs to replace cause if Sin or Hsool open her computer up and see a green light on with they try to power it up then its definitely the power supply and Micro Center has Dell power supplies so she can just go get one and replace it, dude good call GIR but yeah they have to check it out to see if its that or not

There are a lot of things it could be, and Gir brought up a point I missed in that HD's are much more fragile then other aspects of computers so it really does protect their ass to not have it there. Everyone is protecting their asses against all foreseeable problems yet it's still not enough, America has a hard on for windfalls because a company missed how stupid one person can be.

yayyyy people i finaly got the computer back and it took less than 2 weeks!! can u belive it??? so it wasnt the mother board after all lmfao the tech guy over the phone was wrong it was some sort of a memory issue!! i have no clue what i did to cause it !!! yea the main reason i wanted to send it back to dell was because i have a warranty until november and i needed the key board fixed also one of my kids messed it up! but ..my computer has arrived and seems to be working fine..i wonder for how long lol
but thanks!! for caring guys !! muahz i know i was going crazy with no computer!!!

lol yeah that does suck Orange, dude when mine went down all I did was go find the part that it needed or find out what was wrong with it and just reinstall the OS on it just to get back online lol

yeah, but my problem was the phone companies.. they pulled the plug on us so i had to play Solitaire for 2 months :|

i seriously have no idea what i have done to it this time... it only wants to work when it wants tooo!!! and its super slow!!! im having a friend come over and completly wipe out windows hopefully that will help!! ???
