Cingular Problems Lately?

For some reason there's have been a huge boost in the Cingular/AT&T network lately. Which accounts for the majority of people especially in Houston,Texas. I actually had a talk with a spokesman from the company that knows the issues but yet have been unable to correct it. If you can talk a good game you can get 3 months of credit to your account (Thanks SiN for doing this). That's right, you will recieve 3months of service for free, which does include calls, txt-ing, internet everything. If you ever wanted to boost up your service for a while but didn't want to pay for it now is deffinitely the time.

Cingular has recieved numerous complains. People calling the right numbers but the calls get redirected to another people. Calls not being recieved. Not being able to get intouch with the entended party even after numerous tries. There's the majority of the complaints.

I've been having problems lately. People thought I just didn't feel like calling them back or just didn't want to talk to them. Now I'm glad that it wasn't me or something I did to my phone. A few days ago I was just changing so many settings think to fix it, but now I know it isn't me.

Well I'm having problems too but they gave me only 1 month service free and 100 bonus minutes. I couldn't talk a good game good enough to get 3 months but hey 1 month alone saves me about $40. Thanks Sinny!

Dang this is REALLY messed up and can cause a big security issue/problem.

It worked. but I only got 1 month free too. Damn well something is better then nothing.

Anyone still having problems. I don't think I've had any problems lately. But its cool becuase this is my free month anyway.

Never had any problems but I'm pretty far outside houston, well enough. I could of stand for some problems to get a free month or 2. Good job to everyone who got in on this.

i forgot all about this. I haven't had any problems lately. I think I was only really affect by it for maybe a few days if even that much. Would of been good to get a free month or service though.

You know what Ive noticed Ive noticed that some peole that are not with Cingular but not with TMobile, and Sprint, and Cingular, and there has been some serious signal issues. Cutting off of calls no matter where I am. I could have a strong signal, not moving not driving, and the signal gets cut. Im like WTF?! And at first I thought maybe it was me but then I got to talking to my mom and shes having problems too. And then my mom was talking to my cuz and she was having problems too and my two aunts! Were all on different accounts, different providers.

And the signals are acting weird, different times of the day, different places, travel, non travel, at home, etc....

I was just curious, is any one else experiencing this with Cingular or any other provider?

Not sure about different providers but I know people around all around been having problems with Cingular. I think it was a whole network issue, but no one said anything about any problems for the last few weeks. Seems like the got most of it fix for most parts now.
