Cingular testing Mobile2Home

You know how wireless carriers will sometimes offer unlimited in-network calling? Yeah, well Cingular is testing a new service called Mobile2Home which extends that network to your landline — as long as you’re an AT&T customer, that is, and you’re willing to pay an extra $5.99 a month (remember that SBC changed its name to AT&T after closing its merger with AT&T a few weeks ago, so there are a lot more AT&T customers out there than you might think). Anyway, Mobile2Home is only being tested in Connecticut for now, they haven’t decided yet whether to roll the service out nationwide.

This would be a really good feature if they decide to use it. But it would only cut down on the actually minutes you use. Everyone I know its pretty much on Cingular/AT&T so its hard to really even use minutes as it is now.

Now they even have the Push To Talk feature, omfg I hate that shit.

Most people do I know we all do here and if I remember right only 2 of my friends are with T-Mobile everyone else knows to go with Cingular.
