Woman has twins - two months apart

A Romanian woman who gave birth to a baby boy in December is expecting his twin brother at the end of January.

Maricica Tescu, 37, from Carlig in Iasi county, knew she was expecting twins but didn't expect a two month gap between the babies. The first baby, a boy, was born on December 11, when the mother was in her seventh month of pregnancy. The second baby, also a boy, is doing fine in his mother's womb and is expected to be born at the end of January.

Doctors said this is a unique case in Romania and there have only been a few such cases worldwide. They explained the woman has a double uterus and each of the babies developed separately. The babies' parents don't know yet if their children will be considered twins because they were born in different years.

I wonder if that could happen with Chello.

I have heard of cases like this before...this is not THAT rare but not THAT comment either.

What IS strange is the length of time between the too.

I heard of a case while helping in a hospital of a same case that happened but the babies were a few weeks apart.

The reason why this happens is because one develops faster than the other and when one is born it gives the other baby left in the womb time to finish developing and then be born when ready. Now there are many cases where both babies are born and one ends up stronger than the other and then one ends up in ICU until it gains its strenght and catches up with its lil bro or sis.

Having twins is just a neato and special thing. Double the pleasure Double the fun...Double everything.

lol damn i cannot imagine lol ...... me having had twins lol im glad they came out at the same time ... 2 mins apart lol ..... its miserable just having a baby but having one then having to wait 2 more months for the other one.. damn... I feel for her lol

sorry I had to answer this one since ive had 3 boys.. yes it is true that with boys they are higher in the tummy... damn both times it was like they were all up in my chest lol especially the twins... was like having an extra set of boobs lol .......

Yeah... I have heard a buncha stories about how to know if its boys or girls. Like if you are really emotional and cry alot, its a girl and if you are moody and have a short temper its a boy! , something to think about!
