As you all know Rated has a section of piercings in the Gallery. So to keep all our fellow members aware just in case their mind has a little wonder about getting a body scar. Heres just some helpful information. Enjoy

-Does it hurt?
Some piercings are painful. Most of the more popular piercings are not. The ears, tongue, eyebrow, and belly button are some of the least painfull piercings. Look at it this way, would so many people get it done if it was that painful?

-What is the standard jewelry used?
Most piercings are 14 gauge. Tongue, navel, and nipples should all be at least 14g. Eyebrows, lips, noses, ears, labrets, may be a smaller gauge. All jewelry should be of a high quality, preferably 316lvm implant grade surgical steel.

-How do I know if my piercing is infected?
If it looks really nasty, hurts really bad and does not seem to be getting any better. This does not mean you have to take it out, it just means you need to take better care of it. If it continues to get worse, you should contact a doctor.

-What do all those numbers mean?
On a 14 5/8 barbell: 14 is the gauge, or the thickness. As the number gets smaller, the jewelry gets bigger. 5/8 is the length in inches of the jewelry from end to end.

-What are the risks of getting pierced?
Contrary to popular belief, ther are little risks involved with a peircing as long as they are done proffessionally in a clean enviroment. Make sure that the piercer uses new needles, autoclaves his tools, has high quality jewelry, and of course, knows what he is doing.

Lmao Hsoos! One time, I was in the bathroom at school and me and my friend were washing our hands, and we hear soome girls in a stall talking and there were 3 girls in one stall. Then a girl screams and runs out. There was blood gushing out of her tongue and her friend had pierced it with a nail. That shit looked painful and nasty! Just thought I would share that!

piercings are cool...i have my nipples done!!! yeah i told precious and she was all about it!!! she said i don't look like the type!!! and NOOOO it doesn't hurt as bad as everyone makes it out to hurt!!! well atleast it didn't hurt me....i want to get other piercings but i am too chickenshit to do what i really want to do...i wouldn't be able to look the guy in the face after he finished...if anyone has it done and i think you guys know what i mean....DOES IT HURT?

so it dont hurt . yeah im chiccen shit too but im definately gonna get my nipples pierced. not to sure when. i kno a few ppl that have there ...... done and they say it didnt hurt. i think it depends on tha person and how well they take pain. me im a big PUSSC

when i got my clit pierced, it hurt a lil bit, but not as painful as i thought it would be. ive had it ever since i wasa junior, i took it out like last month. man i miss it. i want to get it repierced.

I suppose the odds might be worht is since as I understand you get massively increased sensitivity down there, but is it worth tht possible loss of all sensitivity, no more o's.... (unless the gspot still works...)
