Teenage Boy Six Flags Decapitation In Georgia

A teenage boy died after being decapitated at Six Flags Over Georgia. He tried to scale two 6 foot high fences surrounding the Batman roller coaster when his head was struck by the ride. This decapitation at Six Flags in Georgia is the first to ever happen at the park. There are still a lot of questions surrounding the freak accident, and we won't have any solid answers for a day or two. The accident happened on June 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM.

The name of the teenager that died at Six Flags today has not been released yet. His family was with him in the theme park.

According to some witnesses that the park the boy was either climbing the fence that surrounds Batman to touch the ride or retrieve something that he had dropped on the ride.

No riders on the roller coaster were injured.

"We do not know why this person was intent on gaining access to this restricted area," the statement from Six Flags said, noting that multiple signs are posted stating, "Danger Zone," "Do Not Enter" and "Authorized Personnel Only."

Now there's actually a debate as who's fault it is? Are you serious? It's the boy's fault not Six Flags

More and more this society is pushing the blame on as many other people as they can for their own actions. The parents know it's their fault for not instilling common sense in their son as well as their son's fault for being stupid. The reports say Six Flags didn't meet the standard requirements they exceeded far pass them. Yeah they could have done a little more but still they went far beyond what the required to do. It's not like he just happen to wonder there he climbd over fences and pass all warning signs and security personnel. I'm sorry your son is dead but hey he was an idiot.

The kid was being stupid, it's sad in the US litigation society the park will take the blame for not anticipating someone would be as stupid as him

This is so sad. Apparently all he was trying to do was get his hat back. He should of just asked one of the people who worked there

I'm still waiting for a pic of this hat becuas this has to be one special late, like the helmet of invisibility from the Clash of the Titans or something. I think we all been to an amusement park and seen of hats ont he ground.

Are you serious so this boy was trying to get his hat back??? now that is so stupid, I heard on the news that this boy was trying to get to the other side of this ride when he was struck, damn he died over a stupid hat, that's so messed up

uh ok, I just think that this kid was probably thinking that he could make it before the rollercoaters got to him, but I'm still stupified because he was killed trying to grab his hat?! man that's so stupid
