| I think if ever gamer I knew refused to buy a Wii (which is not the case most I know will be getting one either right before or right after pickcing up a 360), the number of non-gamers I know that are getting a Wii now would outsell PS3's 2-1 (that's saying every gamer bought a PS3, something I know is not happening). I think Nintendo has managed what they set out to do, woo the non gamers that find controllers excessively complex and modern games to be to difficult to get themselves into.
Sure they might have lost out on a lot of gamers, but to lose a few eggs for a chance at hundreds of chickens (that will evnetually lay eggs of their own...) ok the analogy is not perfect, but sometimes people simple and easy can still be fun. |
