| Thank you Kitty. I am not trying to push religion or God on any one. I just recieved this as an email and it really got me thinking. I myself don't like church cuz I personally find it mind numbingly boring! And I don't like the subject of "God" being pushed in me, or other people's beliefs. But as you read, regardless of whether you believe in God or not, these particular situations have happened.
Did you know that if you took 100 children, split 50 into homes where the subject of God and the bible (not religion) are mentioned often, and the parents are more involved.... then took the other 50 and put them in homes where they spend most of their time with hired care with little to none mention of God or the bible....
the kids who are aware of the bible and who have a better relationship with their parents are more obedient and are more hesitant to do the wrong thing. Where as the other children have more of an "I dont care attitude" and "I can do anything I want"
Now of course there are some that stray outside of statistics... but this is a majority concept. |
